While I´m here, there´s something important you are missing, and I think is the unspoken truth about why girls like bad boys.
Girls love to feel special. Nice guys usually fail to make them feel special, because nice guys are nice to everyone. Bad boys don´t care about anyone (or so we believe) so knowing that this guy, who doesn´t want a girlfriend, who doesn´t take any girl seriously is into you, is a chance to feel special. If he is super rude to everyone, and is just slightly nice to this ONE girl, that makes her feel special.
It´s similar the “chance to tame him” thing, but the underlying motive for that is feeling special. A regular guy has to do a bunch of things to make you feel like you are important and special, because he has been respectful to pretty much everyone. A bad boy just doesn´t have to be a complete jerk (and when he is, she will forgive him, because “he is not always like that” and because “he´s not like that when it´s just the two of us”. Knowing that she gets to see this secret guy that nobody else know is attractive to women.
If you are a nice guy, and don´t want to play around with her, but she is into bad boys, make her feel special in a different way. Use your own super powers to beat the bad guy. in this case, she´s the one who is mistaken, and that´s why sometimes it takes 8 years for a nice guy to convince her that he´s not “just being nice” with her. (even if it seems obvious, but remember, she expects you to be nice, so it´s not special if you are nice, if she only reaches out to you when she´s losing you, offer something you don´t give to anyone else. If you are always the listener when she talks, maybe next time, you can share something with her, that is deep and interesting, don´t make a big deal about it, just let her notice that there is more to you than just “the nice guy” who listens after bad guys break her heart.

I am an almost 56 yr old white male who lives in Crofton MD. I have a very deep interest in what your group can do to improve my odds at surviving the “dating game.”
I came out of two back to back relationships with women, the first was 5 yrs older than me and second was 7 yrs younger (both tied me up for last 6 yrs ). I have not been able to nail even as much as a date the last yr and 1/2.
I am physically fit and appear relatively younger than my chronological age. I’d prefer to date women in their 30’s and 40’s but once they find out I am 55-56 they treat me as if I am some sort of a bad joke
What fuctional male wants a menopausal woman 55 – 65. I surely don’t.
Any advice ?
P.S. I don’t want to throw wads of cash around to prove my success even though I could — because then the 30s – 40’s would only accept me as their “sugar-daddy” (attracted to my wealth — not me )

I am married now but gave up on women earlier in life. I realized that I would never get a girlfriend and accepted the truth. I realized that competing against the bad boy was impossible. He was a superior competitor and I acknowledged that. Giving up on women gave me a great feeling of peace. When I saw an attractive woman with a scumbag, I used to get upset. After I gave up on women, I didn’t care. I realized the attractive woman and the scumbag really did belong together. Ironically, after I totally gave up on women, I started to get female attention and dates. When I cared about them, they couldn’t run away fast enough.
Never be the nice guy. Always be the gentleman. Gentleman own the banks and run the governments.

They like the trash when their young. When they get older THEN they want the nice guy who goes to church. I have not forgotten what I saw growing up. I reject the female trash everytime in church. I noticed I fall for the girls that fall for the bad boys it seems. Ironically they have the nicest personalities! I hear the guy who says that once they hear his age they treat you differently. I’m 28, and when a girl 20-24 hears my age they sometimes change the way they treat me.
I like two guys.. one is sweet kid and one is a bad boy. I like both alot but I think I prefer the bad boy – because he was the the first guy who told me that I was beautiful. 😉
